Prompt Enhancer: add the context your prompt is missing

Enhancing a prompt is mostly about putting back what you left out because it was obvious to you. This tool finds the gaps, asks you about the ones that matter, and folds your answers into a prompt the model can actually follow.

How it works

  • 1

Gaps are found before the rewrite

Scoring runs first and flags which of the seven dimensions is weakest — usually context, constraints or output format.

  • 2

You answer two to four questions

The questions come from your prompt, not from a fixed list. A post about remote work gets asked about audience and length; a code task gets asked about the stack.

  • 3

    Your answers go in verbatim

What you type is used as the context. Nothing is invented around it, and anything still unknown is left as a visible placeholder.

When to use it

  • You know the detail, the prompt does not

You know it is for enterprise buyers in healthcare. Unless the prompt says so, the model writes for everyone, which means it writes for no one.

  • Handing a prompt to someone else

An enhanced prompt carries its own context, so a colleague gets the same output you did instead of a vaguely similar one.

  • Prompts that work once and then drift

If a prompt only works when you remember to add a sentence in chat, that sentence belongs in the prompt. This puts it there.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is the difference between enhancing and optimizing a prompt?

Optimizing is about structure: role, task, constraints, output format. Enhancing is about substance: the context that only you have. In practice this tool does both, but it leads with the questions.

  • Can I skip the questions?

Always. Every question has Skip, and there is a "skip questions and optimize now" option. Skipped answers simply become placeholders.

  • Do you store my prompt?

Not unless you save it. Signed-out use keeps nothing beyond what the model needs to answer, and prompt text never goes into a URL.

  • How many questions will it ask?

Between two and four, and only when the prompt is missing something essential. A prompt that already scores well is optimized without any questions at all.
